What I love about this video is the definition of being an adult. Things do not come your way. I am inspired by how you handled yourself by reaching out to the admin office for further clarification regarding why you were not accepted, understand what to do next, & making those steps to make that appeal. I think a lot of us when we get rejected in anything in life we feel like “oh that’s it” but this video shows that sometimes you should go out of your way to simply ask & not give up because who knows about the that had happened along the way. I’m so happy that you ended up getting accepted I’m sure that must feel a relief but I’m also so happy that you had to go through this to be able to get to where you are now. There are going to be so many opportunities in the future where we’ll be let down but keep your head up girl! There will be things meant for you & there will be things not meant for you❤ can’t wait to see you in your element!!

I believe this is what life is all about: figuring things out as we go. Choosing something that you think is good for you, at the time, and then some time down the line, you realise that it doesn't work for you and then choosing something different. Personally, figuring out what life I want for myself has been an everchanging process and you know what, changing (for the better) is good. I'm so happy you did this for yourself McKenna!! If I were to go back to my highschool self I would tell her that college is not the end of the world and won't define your life. If you wanna switch majors, schools, or leave schools. DO IT, BUT make sure you have a plan and you have something to aspire to!
