Holy fuck, this looks bad with a capital B. And John McClane is no longer a human, he's now an invincible superhero. Again, Die Hard is in the hand of hacks.

So Jacks calls his dad John, just like his sister Lucy did in the last movie. Seems like his relationship with his kids is very rough.

the story may be lackluster the action over the top but come on this was designed not to win awards but to bring fun to the audience we need films like this every now and then to inject the fun bakc into our veins.

This made me so happy. McClaine is a legend at this point. He could punch out Godzilla and I'd totally see that movie.

You forgot to mention that he also can walk through a place with very high radiation. Yup, Chernobyl is one of the places in the world with most radiation.

Holy smokes that's a sweet effect with his cg self flying towards the window and then crashing into the window and then becoming the real thing. Almost can't tell where it changes from cgi to real.

they try making the effects so realistic that it becomes unrealistic... everything looks animated

The worst part: he crashed into sturdy looking support beams. Realistically it would have made a loud thump, and he would have fallen down the side of the building to his death, while the windows stayed intact.
If he had enough force to break those support beams, every bone in his body should be broken now. But I highly suspect he will just get up after this scene and not spend months in a hospital.

ah thanks great to hear! I hear nothing but bad reviews, but I'm going to see it anyway. Maybe I'll like it. Hell, I liked pretty much all of Dolph Lundgren's action movies from the 80's. I'm easily satisfied when it comes to tough guy action movies.

Yes, but to be perfectly fair, Die Hard 1 didn't suck ass like 5.

The 1:85.1 aspect ratio sucks. It means that when you are in the cinema the curtains will not open up and make the screen bigger. They should of done 16:9! 1:85.1 is used for cheap comedy's not Acton movies. It pissed me off when the avengers used the same crappy aspect ratio.

I can say Bruce Willis did a wonderful job. Despite that this is the weakest die hard. I love all of them. Yippie Kay Yay.

are you serious? die hard 1 is one of the best action movies ever, die hard 2 has 65% on rotten tomatoes, die hard 3 45%, die hard 4 was good and has 81%
