Legit before I quit Genshin a few months ago I haven’t done commissions for like a whole month cause of how annoying and tedious it was. I mean yeah I was a whale in Genshin, but then I stopped being a whale for a year. Yeah it was hard to grind wishes, but even when I needed the gems commissions would be the last thing I wanted to do.

Tip for burnt out players: don't be afraid to take a break if you are tired of the commissions. Don't play the game alltogether or at least don't do the commissions for 1-3 days. They are not going anywhere as long as you are caught up with the events, your mental health is more important than a couple of primogems, and I am telling you, it worked for me and I was able to recollect my thoughts and passion of the game, so you could too. Just sit back and relax.
