Stop disincentivizing auto manufacturers from making capital investments into expanding battery manufacturing, by allowing manufacturers to keep supply low and prices high, and forcing the Federal Government to help consumers pay the bill, this only increases the profits of manufacturers even more. Force these monopolies to make the capital investment in expanding battery manufacturing. EV's should cost 2/3 the price of the equivalent ICE vehicle.
