Thanks for your review. I’m late to the party but I went with the super black Nissan Rogue SV premium 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Yeah it doesn’t have the crazy acceleration some people are looking for but I also don’t have a lead foot. The acceleration is perfect for me. I got the AWD version because in Utah we get a ton of snow every winter. Everything that is offered in this car made it a steal for the price. My wife wasn’t sold on it when I got it because the pro pilot assist scared her when the car started steering for her but, after driving it 2 more times she fell in love with it. So, for an early Christmas present I bought her the 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum in the Boulder Gray pearl a week ago. Hers has a lot of features mine doesn’t but I didn’t need/want them. We couldn’t be happier.

This was SO helpful! I just test drove a Rav4 and CRV and agree with you wholeheartedly. I love the styling of the Rav4 but something about driving I disliked. When I tried the CRV, it was SO MUCH FUN to drive and felt much more spacious, and had the comfiest seats. I think we are going to pick up a CRV next week! The only other car we were seriously considering was the Forrester, but given reliability issues with Subaru, the CRV takes the cake. Thank you again for your excellent review!!

The thing about the CR-V is that it handles so well and has been described as “small but tall”, and will handle most of the not-too-tall loads that a small pickup does. I have on occasion gotten 40-mpg. The 0-to-70 acceleration is quiet, smooth, and powerful. The 1.5 liter turbo mated to a cvt is an incredible piece of Honda engineering. The dash-mounted shifter is very smart ergonomics.

Congratulations. One of the best and complete reviews I have seen for comparing these 3 favorites. For me, it was the CRV. It had the best all around value and functionality. Like you said, they are very close and you can't go wrong with either of the three.

My wife loves her CR-V. No oil dilution problems either. The design still holds up IMO.
