good video anyways here’s a pancake recipe!

batter:

For each cup of flour:

1 medium or large egg
1 tsp baking powder (you can go for 2 or 3 if you want lighter pancakes)
a pinch of salt
2 tbl neutral oil or butter
2 tbl sugar or maple syrup
about 3/4 cup of milk

Options to add to the batter (not all at once):

1/2 tsp vanilla extract
small blueberries
finely diced strawberries
tiny chocolate chips
multi-colored sprinkles
1 tbl cocoa powder

In a bowl combine flour, salt, and baking powder with a whisk or two forks. Place the egg, oil, and sugar in a measuring cup and add milk to make the same volume as the flour and combine with a whisk. Add the milk mixture to dry ingredients, mix together gently (you don’t want to over mix and build up gluten strings - the pancakes will be tough).

Increase the heat on the griddle to medium and grease with butter or spray shortening.

Spoon batter onto the griddle to make pancakes the size you want.

Bake until the bubbles near the center stop filling in when they break, then flip them and bake on the other side until golden. (If the first side of the first batch is browning too fast, lower the heat.)

The whole process from opening the bag of flour to serving the first batch should take maybe 8 minutes.
