This wore really nicely! I still feel like it’s definitely more matte than satin though! The texture is actually quite similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks which is so interesting. I’m excited to keep wearing it & loveeeed how the shade “Dirty Talk” wore off. It’s gorgeous!!

ALLIE New series to consider : (monthly out of your comfort zone)! Where you might do a look using black lipstick for example. I think it would really help us all to be braver and try new looks. ELF seems to be the brand that dupes high end products often, a bit like Revolution but ELF seems to actually do a pretty good job, as the quality of their products are pretty good. I usually buy high end lipsticks but these, like the Milani lipsticks, seem just as good. I think I will get one of them

I love how they have such a versatile shade range. So many of the colors would look good on deeper skin tones!
My favorite is Dirty Talk as well.

Price AND quality have improved, as have ingredients. I can’t say that $9 for a lip product is much, since in Canada, weather at Walmart or a leading drug mart, you’d be hard pressed to find a comparable product at a lower price. Personally, I think elf has been hitting it out of the park these last few years and applaud their success and innovation. I can’t believe how expensive high end beauty has become. Can’t afford that, but this still feels like luxury. 👍

It seems like elf's main strategy right now is creating dupes - they're clearly coming for Nars here. I'm not crazy about the price, but I've got to say, these look really nice, and I'm impressed to hear that they're fragrance-free; to me, that feels like the height of luxury. Thank you for the video!

PS black lipstick gets along very well with very blush-heavy looks, if you wanted to wear it and not feel too goth.

You immediately had me at the intro with the black lipstick. I have been searching for a black formula that isn't too slick or shiny, but also wasn't a liquid lipstick because I personally detest the way they look and feel on me. This looks very nice and opaque!
The shade Effortless also has my attention. I love wearable mauvey pink-purples. Very pretty. :)

I have two of these lipsticks already. I LOVE them. They’re light-weight and pigmented while still being comfortable. They wear off elegantly. The magnetic packaging is entertaining. LOL. I have the two shades that you have chosen as well. Dirty Talk and Effortless. I would have liked more nudes was well, but…

I picked up Dirty Talk and I’m so glad you like it too! Great MLBB shade for me and I think it’s just the *right* amount of matte to look seamless but also be comfortable. If I just blot a bit of this on with a brush it quickly gives me a full, healthy look.

I actually appreciate the range they came out with. It looks like it would be great for multiple skin tones and under tones. May need to do some swatches of shades from other brands I already own and compare them to this range to see what shades I can add to my collection that I feel would also look good on me. Will be looking at the reds and the purple shades first, then move onto the browns and pinks next since I already have a few of those shades in my collection.
