No it isn't, Uplifting Trance was my favorite genre before it went commercial, but the truest\purest form of Trance is what JOOF plays nowadays.
Simply because it is more true to definition of Trance, it is more hypnotic and repetitive in order to get you in a trance.

no you're all wrong..trance is typically 130-138 with less producers making 138 tracks because of how america likes things slower (more people in europe like dnb, hardstyle, etc while more people in the us like dubstep, trap, house at 128, and moomba), so he's asking "who's afraid of 138" because its faster and more intense than slower trance.
