Casey Neistat's vlogs tend to have amazing music. Nostalgic samples, drone footage of Manhattan, and hip hop beats = fire

If one could classify "Casey Neistat Vlog Music" as a genre, this is me making a beat in that genre. I sort of think of it as hip hop + turntablism + maybe IDM??? Honestly I have no clue whatsoever.

This was my GoPro Karma's first contribution to the channel. Just acquired a few days ago so pumped!

I've been avoiding learning another DAW outside of Logic and PT. What about the beatmaking and time stretching is so good in Ableton to you? Ease of workflow or more about the sounds, ability to edit quickly, etc?

Awesome job man, you should definitely invest a little more time into Live, it's such a fun piece of software!

Also, are you flying a Mavic? Looks like it but it's a little hard to tell just from briefly seeing the controller. Cheers!
