Numbers 1:1 || Intro to the Book of Numbers

The title numbers really isn’t the best description of the book of Numbers. There is much to be learned from the book of Numbers. Many of the stories that we hear so much about in the rest of the Bible actually come from the book of Numbers. Come along with me today through this introduction to a book of the Bible that really doesn’t get the attention that it deserves.

The book of Numbers is more than a census or ancient national data. The book of Numbers is a wealth of applicable stories that came from God’s people being disobedient to His leading. Let’s explore the book of Numbers together and find the hidden treasures of application amidst the census that God had Moses take of the Israelite people.

I’m so happy to be starting the Book of Numbers. For so long I had tired to read my Bible and learn Gods word, but I will always stop reading in the middle of Genesis.
