Just dipped my toe in the water with micro 4/3 by buying second hand OM D EM1 mark 2 and found the set up very confusing. However your videos are a life saver. Thank you.

Gavin is an excellent teacher and instructor. I would love to see him brake out and do a dedicated channel to all things related to the EM-1 mark II.

Thanks for your video Gavin. I'm an absolute novice and I need to know how to set up my OM-D E-M1 Mark II for shooting a comet currently in our southern hemisphere. I have looked in the settings and cannot find Olympus Starry Sky mode. Is it actually called S-AF? Also, do I set up in Manual mode? I figured out how to set the ISO, but HOW do I set the aperture F.28? Also, the only lens I have are...Olympus 12-200mm, Hoya 40-150mm & Hoya 14-42mm. Can I use any of these? It is very difficult for me and I know I should do a course, but haven't been able to yet. Any help would be so wonderful - THANKS.

Good video, I have a question, how to deactivate the light that help focus? I only want to deactivate it in order to make street photography without attracting the attention of the people. I will save it at my C1 mode

“Assign custom modes” is not highlighted when in video mode on my dial. Can I Not save video settings to c1, c2 or c3?

Gavin; I recently viewed your video on the Custom Modes with the Olympus EM1 Mark II; can you save video settings to the Custom Mode dial so you could have special settings for pictures say on Custom Mode 1 and special settings for taking videos on another Custom Mode setting?

How do u set it up so it behaves like a S priority mode. It only gives me P mode and I cannot assign the speed to the back wheel.
