This was one of the only fiction books I ever actually enjoyed, I was told often this was a boys book but I still was obsessed. It’s part of what got me interested in bushcraft and prepping

I read this book in 5th grade at the age of 10. Never forgot about it. And now, at 29, I’m “reading” it again, and it’s even better than I remember.

This was required reading in middle school. I've decided to find the entire series and listen to it. These stories are absolutely incredible.

who’s here like way after school, reminiscing on all the innocent sweet moments you had goofing off in class or thinking about what you’d do when you’re grown up. Lowkey missing childhood… This book helped me get back there just for a moment ❤️

Thank you some much for this video. My 6th grade class is reading this and I struggle a lot to read in a classroom. And so this video helps me alot to catch up with the class thank you. I’m listening to this while I’m cleaning my room and I may listen to it again thank you sooo much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Read this book in 6th grade. I loved reading books. I read all the time. Then out of nowhere I quit reading for years. Recently I got my girlfriend a kindle cause she loves reading and it made me interested in reading some books. Now I’m almost 22 and reading again. Then I remembered Hatchet and decided to listen to an audiobook while I drive and clean our house. Truly an incredible book

I love this book so much! Some of my earliest childhood memories are from camping trips. I've even seen home videos where my dad brought me camping with him, carrying me in my car seat up the mountain. When I had to read Hatchet in 5th grade, it may have been the only time I finished an assigned book before I had to. I still read it or listen to it often, as it still holds up. Just bought my friend a copy so next time we go on a camping trip, we can both have a copy. He's never read it and I know he'll love it. I cant wait to sit by the campfire after dinner and do some reading before we pull out the instruments. Pure peace.
