I never got to experience Aqua when they came out in '96 because I wasn't even a thought until July of '98 and was born in April of '99. But I WAS thankful/grateful/fortunate to grow up in the early 2000's, listening to Music Choice 90's when we had Comcast and hearing this song for the very first time in my life and it changed my 7 year old life. Along with the Six Flags Theme by the Vengaboys, The Gummy Bear Song, Tubthumping by Chumbawumba, The Hamster Song, Drago Stea Din Tei by O-Zone and even Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex. I was so BEYOND lucky to have grown up in a time where I had access to all of this weird, wacky, quirky and bizarre music, songs and bands. I love that part about my childhood. I loved weird, wacky, quirky and bizarre stuff when I was a little girl. I LOVED watching Freddy vs. Jason Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and Freddy Krueger when I was 5 years old WITHOUT ANY adult supervision. My first ever unsupervised movie was Rain Man starring my favorite childhood actor and childhood celebrity crush Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. And that is a Rated-R movie. I was the weird girl that understood sexual adult jokes in adult cartoons on Adult Swim when I was six. I didn't have to Google or ask my parents what any of it meant. I just had to visualize what it meant. I was the weird kid that would watch Futurama, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Boondocks, The Brak Show and more. I never did get into The Simpsons believe it or not.🤷🏼‍♀️😅😂🤣 But overall, my childhood was perfect.✨💖
