Many of you might be wondering what it takes to keep venomous animals and how to get into it, we’ll start by watching this and getting a few pointers on keeping if it’s the right thing to do because far too many people “use” these animals as something to show off with and if that’s the mindset, then honestly you shouldn’t work with these animals.

If you like what you are seeing please subscribe it helps out my channel so more people can learn about awesome animals! I'm a huge animal enthusiast from South Africa, I LOVE reptiles and basically any animal. I'll share my amazing animal adventures with you.

Thank You To My Patreons

Couldn’t agree more as someone who is getting more into the venomous side of snakes I find it quite easy and a lot more common that people get these species of snakes just to be “cool” and fit in. In the short time that I have kept and worked with venomous species I’ve honestly learned quite a lot and done countless hours of research on one species and this should be the standard procedure for any snake species.

Excellent video! I don’t keep venomous, and never will - have a few snakes - pythons and boas and love caring for them. I have watched every video Al Coritz (Viperkeeper) has made, and think that before starting with a mentor watching his videos would be a great introduction to get an idea of just what is involved.

I live in northern MN. I've been looking for a few months to find a mentor. I don't know if I would ever keep venomous myself, but I would love to have the opportunity to get to work with these amazing creatures. My biggest roadblock however, is finding other keepers near me. Right now my only way to get access to training seems to be classes across the country. Do you have any recommendations on where and how to find a local mentor? I don't think a 3 day class is going to be all the training I need(not saying I won't be taking those classes though) Thank you for your time!

Lol that intro. Wait? I can't hold you accountable if I do something "dumb and stupid"? That's not fair. What's the first venom.... never mind... I got to.. 10:29
