League of Legends Xerath Skin Tier List

Alex here with another Skin Tier List; this time we're getting through Xerath because he's getting a dope new Arcana skin! Is it his BEST?! Well it definitely might be his most divisive at the very least.

Being a content creator these days is hard, the youtube gaming sector is mostly satured and that is something me and a lot of smaller youtubers can feel, but this is really good content, it's original and fun to watch. Cool breakdown of his bio and tierlist. Gotta read Xerath lore sounds so interesting, and always liked Shurima wich kinda resemble bit of Egypt. Azir, Renekton and Azir has very bizzare relation. Xerath skins look dope.

Apparently the Arcana skins were designed NOT to be tied to one specific card so the player can interpret them how they like. I see Arcana Xerath as The Devil arcana. I like the decision to make Xerath a pretty boy, but I still think Guardian of the Sands is my favorite skin for him.
Oh, if you’re looking for suggestions for champions to make more tierlists on, I think Nunu & Willump have some great skins. I’m interested in hearing what you think of them.

The Arcana skins aren't exactly 1:1 when trying to pin down what Major Arcana they represent. But if I were to pick which Major Arcana they represent the MOST:

Camille: the Chariot
The Chariot stands for control, willpower, action, and success. If there's one thing Camille is known for, it's taking matters into her own hands and keeping the relationship between Piltover and Zaun in check from under the shadows. BONUS: According to concept art by Citemer Liu, Arcana Camille was first based of Justice. As mentioned before, the Arcana skins don't necessarily represent the Major Arcana but rather are inspired by it, so to what degree does this skin embody Justice is debatable.

Lucian: Judgement
Judgement, besides the act of judgement, also represents rebirth, inner calling, and absolution. Lucian was known for being an absolver for the hordes of the undead, even after Senna's resurrection. Like sending all the undead back to the afterlife to be judged. BONUS: Like Camille, his concept art depicts him being based off Major Arcanas, but unlike Camille, he went through several redesigns. Citemer Liu seemed to also be inspired by anime because there was a Star version based off Star Platinum from JJBA, one based off the Sun, and one based off the Emperor with a floating figure behind him that was inspired by both Persona and JJBA. His concept splash art by Esban Lash Rasmussen also depicts him being the embodiment of Justice.

Tahm Kench: the Emperor
This one is easy, since Tahm Kench's title is the River King, and his Arcana skin has him donning a crown, a cape, and sitting on a throne.
The Emperor reversed means domination, excessive control, and a lack of discipline. Tahm Kench is known for two things: bargaining and his insatiable hunger. He is a demon whose bargains is laced with malice whose price is everlasting misery and a one way ticket to the abyss he calls his stomach.

Xerath: the Magician
Despite being the most obvious, Xerath representing the Magician fits him so well when you compare his lore to the Arcana. The Magician upright means power, resourcefulness, and the ability to take action. Reversed, it means a lack of control, manipulation, and unrealized potential. Xerath seems to embody both orientations. He strived to power and was successful in attaining that power with everything he has, even betrayal. However, his betrayal was also what snowballed his downfall. In a way, you could say that if the stars were aligned, his fate could have stayed with the Upright Magician, but one spur of the moment has reversed his fate and doomed him to forever be unable to attain his full potential.
