Never in my life did I ever think a $50, 000 truck as low end. Who can afford $1000 mo payments??? CRAZY!!!

Here’s what I just can’t get past. My 19 Bighorn Level II 4x4, heated seats, wheel, big screen, trailer pack etc etc was 48k new. I got discounts and my trade in was worth something then, now they aren’t so much. Been a flawless PRE PANDEMIC truck. In 4 years, the big 3 have raised prices SO MUCH! I’d have to settle for 0 options and plastic floor coverings for the same money as a STRIPPED work truck today. Let the big 3 drown in their decisions. There’s no such thing as affordable for us working middle class now.

Just remember folks, that the average price for a new vehicle purchase is in the mid-40's. The entire market from top to bottom is inflated beyond reason, but it's the pick up trucks and larger SUV's that are dragging the average higher & higher. The only way to slow the assent is to stop buying these overprices money pits. Oh and don't forget about the equally ridiculous cost of insuring them.

Luxury prices for a basic truck that’s a steal. 🤦

I would rather sink 10g into my older dodge ram than have a 800 dollar pmt for 72mo plus full coverage insurance ! No thanks!

Those dial and push button transmission controls need to go away in trucks of any kind, especially the push button. A column shift is not hard to deal with, they don't take up room in the dash or console and they are proven.

Just wait until the manufacturers feel the pinch. Car market is headed downhill and its all because they got greedy.

I remember 2017 when I couldn’t afford a Raptor because it was 55k…

The Ford just because I can not rap my head around a 4 banger in a full size truck no matter the # of turbos

46K for a base model F150 with standard engine no add on is crazy. The f250 crew cab with v8 and more towing no add on is $50, 755. You might as well get a better bang for your buck. Plus with turbo engines you will spend more $$$ down the road in maintenance and repair and won’t last as long… for $4, 000 more you get reliability and more truck. No brainer there

Just drive around to any nissan dealership - make them an offer on a titan and I bet they will take it.I saw several advertised 15k off msrp for a pro-4x.

I appreciate Andre’s enthusiasm about new trucks but it’s just a bummer how unaffordable they really are. Still like watching Andre though

I feel like all trucks are all priced 10-15k higher then they should be

I think that in comparing truck affordability, all the trucks being compared should be on the same trim level, model year, and possibly same engine size comparably to really see the price differences.

I know I'm showing my age, but I HATE that truck/car buyers are FORCED to consider the radio/infotainment system as a major aspect of choosing a vehicle. "Back in my day" if you didn't like a radio, went to an audio shop, spent $200-$300 on a head unit, maybe a few hundred on an amp and speakers and would be able to destroy modern radios in clarity and dynamic range. Now if you get a base truck, your pretty much stuck with it because the infotainment system is a major component of the truck's functionality. Old Timer rant over.

There is no best deal on modern trucks, there is no deal at all. They are all overpriced garbage that start rotting away in the rust belt before your last payment is made. I will NEVER pay these prices for a truck, not ever.

Nissan Titan….you will almost always get the best deal but since they have announced it being discontinued the community has forgotten it completely which is sad.

The new engine, transmission, and all the layoffs, resignations, and plant closures at stellantis is a good reason to skip the ram.
