By the way, the simplest explanation: if you can stand in a vehicle, use “on”. As for a bike - we use “on” cuz we literally sit on it

Simple ..if you are able to walk in the vehicle just use On else in

Maybe this works: with the only exception „bike“ on seems to be used for bigger vehicles/transport-units while in is used for smaller ones. I might be wrong though 🥶 please, anyone, help us out!

Where we can stand easily in the interior is used "on" as well.

Briefly .. (we used on) : to describe the massive vehicles as will as the one u can stand up on and walk through . while (in is used): to describe the smaller vehicles.which u can't waIk through it .

On:
If you can stand or walk inside the vehicle while it is moving
Then small and open mode of transportation.
In:
If we must sit inside the vehicle while it is moving.

In a nutshell:
public transport - ON
personal vehicle - IN
trucks and helicopters can be considered "personal" too, I believe :)
