We are extremely excited to share the second instalment of our "Concert in the Living Room" with you. This one features Dave Hebb on Eb Bass, however the rest of the band definitely couldn't let him take the whole spotlight!

We would like to say a huge thank you to our technical team, Daniel Robson and Keith Johnson of KMJ recordings, for all of their hard work on this video. It really isn't easy to put something like this together and you are doing an amazing job.

Most of all, we hope you enjoy B&R's second performance, straight from our living rooms. Please do share with all of your friends to spread some Disney joy at a time when we really do all need it. And don't forget...

The Bare Necessities of life will come to you.

This is utterly amazing, and in more ways than you might imagine. I didn't know that you had put this "special" version together to cheer us all up. It's brilliant! What is even more amazing, is that I have only just returned from my daily escape from "my current reality" and during my isolated walk, I was watching (and listening to) a recording that I had found back in 2010, and which I had "naughtily" copied to my very old Sony Video Walkman. So, having enjoyed your company during my walk, I decided to Message my Niece, Jenny, and tell her all about it. I was about to send her my rather rough video when I thought that I might find the link once again, and send her that instead. However, you can imagine my surprise when I found your latest "Home-made" version of the same piece. Wow, a masterpiece! I particularly liked some of the improvised percussion and, when I have finished this, I shall listen again, and quietly play along, perhaps, with either my cornet or the trumpet behind me. I might even get out a saucepan or two. Having done that, I will attempt to put my old video into a "new" video, which I hope might be considered as a small tribute from a (currently "sleeping") member of the Chalgrove Brass Band. If I succeed, I will let you see a copy, privately, and you can then decide if you would like it to go public. With most grateful thanks from a Brass Band music lover from Oxfordshire. Chris.

Thank you, is a drizzly & rubbish day & my overly loud singing has worried my neighbours . Feeling so much better :)

What type of trumpet mute was used for this? To get that sound?
