I started selling cards on tcg player and I'm so meticulous when it comes to making sure they're near mint. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has gripes about people listing things as NM when it's not.

Its up to judges discretion but the general rule of thumb with damaged cards. As long as u can still "read" the effect and can at least make out the card name u can play it. Foreign cards u have to have the english translation on hand

Sometimes I get a card from TCGplayer at “near mint” with an obvious corner ding and not sure if I can complain and return.

Favorite card is definitely Magician's Souls. I'll wait for the reprint on it before I get my hands on one.

2nd Place goes to Cosmic Cyclone. I've been getting burned by it on Duel Links so it has my respect.

Cards are considered playable if 2 out of 3 of the "important" parts are visible and not altered. These parts are: Name, Picture, Cardtext.
Also for that Terraforming, I see those all the time like that.

Pretty dope video but just proves how most sellers in tcg aren’t that great sadly. I’ve had a good amount of experiences were the card was listed near mint and for a verified seller also most good reviews. And their idea of near mint is a moderately played card.

I been working on a decent dark magician deck myself, at my locals i won 2nd place because mine is very consistent in bringing out my most powerful cards, sadly it was nothing against a sprite deck which was how i lost at the end lol
