This video is a continuation of the multiplication and division videos. It teaches learners how to multiply a 2-digit number by a 2-digit number using the written method - long multiplication.

Year 5: Multiply numbers up to 4 digits by a one- or two-digit number using a formal written method, including long multiplication for two-digit numbers.

Thank you for your video! Can you help me with the best way to help my 10 year old understand this challenge. There are some missing numbers I have to solve for. In the first line I called the missing number X and the second line I called it Y. X 8 multiplied by 4Y = 2924. We needed to solve for the missing numbers and provide the long multiplication steps. Thank you.
