Comes with every soldering iron??? I've had a hard time getting hold of one.

Important tool, however I find using hemostats work better for me. A dentist friend gave me old dental tools he no longer used. Great for electronics work. The little mirrors are great for looking around and under components. The stainless scrapers and picks (whatever dentists call those tools) are perfect for working PCBs. JMO

IV never seen one of those before.. but my god I need it.. always damaged delicate wire's starting off until I realised I didn't need to hold the iron for as long to them 😅

Back in the day you didn't dare solder a semiconductor of any kind without using a heat sink.

You still don't know what they are for. They are for components. Wires, not so much.
