This mix is real. Nothing will ever hit me like this movie did the first time I saw it on a second hand VHS. You summoned some of that feeling here, and I thank you for it.

You made a CANNON contribution with your creation. It's a true love letter to one of the greatest animation movies ever made.

THIS MUST happen again in a full remake of Akira expanding the books. This SHOULD happen again ALL OVER. This is the ANTHEM of the internet and our current times.

Akira is just a perfect construction of Katsuhiro Otomo. I can't wait for a remake for this.

*It’s.... it’s beautiful. It achieves what the theme did, a mix of technology, religion, some other theme that I’m missing. Basically a clash of those three, as that’s what Akira is about.*
