Nikon P950 from B&H . Comparing to Nikon P610

IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to order a " #GrayMarket ," camera. Especially one as costly as the Nikon P950. And definitely do not order any DSLR from a gray market dealer.
They are cheap, making them very attractive. If there is damage to the product, you won't be able to get your money back. The expensive warranty coverage (additional price), is just so you can ship it to a non-authorized Nikon repair shop (overseas), and the repair cost will be additional. And you cannot update any software of the camera with a gray market order. Do Not take the chance.
If you are into videography, mega-zoom bridge cameras, such as the Nikon P950, are perfect. If you are more into taking pictures, please save the money & opt for a DSLR. You can order a Nikon D5300 (my favorite!), D5500, or D5600, for virtually the same $$$, as the #NikonP950 . Check-out #B&HPhoto for great pricing.
My circle is nearly complete. Owning a Nikon D3200, 5300, GoPro Hero 6, Nikon P610, Fuji HS20 (still works!), and a Pentax IQZoom. Not to mention the Smartphone camera.
Just remember: Mega-zoom point & shoot cameras, need a tripod, if using the telephoto capability for bird watching or sports. And I'd advise a tripod for macro-photography of mushrooms & flora. Basically, you have a camcorder with a telephoto lens, that records spectacular engrossing 1080HD & 4K video. The batter can get quite warm as will the processors, depending on outside weather. It can affect the recording, focusing, and zoom of the camera. If this happens...turn-off the camera, take the battery-out and let cool down for five-ten minutes, or keep a spare battery handy. But with the processor of the camera, you just have to be patient if it overheats, when recording in 4K mode, as with any camera.
