The full yellow gold speedmaster with dark green dial is one of my favorite watches of all time so far. That and their blue ceramic moonphase with aventurine dial.

That gold speedy is one of the most beautiful watches I think have ever been created. If they kept the dial and did the rest in 2 tone I would totally buy it. Can't afford that solid gold !

Lucky to own a number of watches, but Omega really are my go to brand. They just have a great line up that really appeals to me. Whereas other brands might have a few watches I love, Omega have dozens it seems. I could easily build a great collection I'd be more than happy with using just Omega. Great content as always.

So I love this watch and I might pick it up on the secondary market. BUT it's more than a gold daytona on Oysterflex new AND it has a clear caseback so LESS gold than a daytona?

My first watch purchase was the white dial/orange hand Aqua Terra. Love it. Have had it for a while now, but I caught myself being transfixed by it again yesterday. It's that fetching. Also the most comfortable watch I own. Second to the collection was a SMP300 blue/blue. As stated in the video, it's incredible bang for buck. I wear it often!

Next watch WILL be a SpeedMaster. Debate is WHICH one. I lust after the Apollo 8, but my wrist is like Michael's. I'm debating whether I can pull it off. I may succumb anyway. Alternatively, sapphire sandwich. That movement is too gorgeous to ignore!

Omega is my go to brand. Love their collection. Thad gold speedy is killer. Also really love the heritage board arrow in that petrol blue!!! Yum - great content boys...

I tried that gold Speedy when I brought my Speedy in for service. I will be getting it. The gold (Moonshine gold) is very subtle and you can wear it with anything, very versatile! Retail is quite pricey (About the same as a rose gold Daytona on rubber), but new, on the secondary market you can save about $7k

I went for the AT myself a year ago. I was stuck between the green and the blue dial, I really think they both look amazing, but ended up with the blue one.

Does gold scratch easily? Looking to buy the Omega Green Speedmaster Moonshine Gold but don’t want to spend a lot of money just to see it full of scratches a month later

Michael I agree that Omega White Side of the Moon is a beast, but disagree with your assessment that you can't pull it off. It looked great on your wrist and so long as it's comfortable, I think you should go for it!

That gold Speedmaster on the rubber band is perfection. You save money with the rubber or even the leather band to which tones it down but still very noticeable. I love the look of the Omega Speedmaster more than the Rolex Daytona.
