Happened to me to about 20 years ago, was watching a "true ghost stories" horror show with my brother, and suddenly when the lightbulb went off in the show, the lights in my house went off at the exact same time, just my house. My brother and I screamed and ran into the room to find our mum. There's an explanation though, it was a faulty socket and my mum had at the time coincidentally plugged in an iron which caused a short circuit at that time.

I've had the movie projector completely freeze than completely broke on me a the Cinema before. They had to relocate everyone to an empty screening in the cinema (which happened to be the luxury one) and gave us free tickets to any movie we wanted and the tickets never run out. The staff said afterewards they only did this cause everyone was kind and respectfull without 1 complaint and only 1 person telling an employee instead of half the audience. There was only like 20 people in there and we all left a tip to the employees that helped us out
