I love making vegan cream cheese frosting. The trick with the powder sugar is to put a little of it bit by bit not all at once. Loved your cake regardless. Cake mix is totally fine btw! 😊🎂

Hey, no shame in using a mix! That's how I do vegan chocolate cake, because ain't nobody got time for baking from scratch. I use Duncan Hines devil's food, add one can of pumpkin instead of the egg and oil and just a little water to slacken the batter. You can't taste the pumpkin at all and the texture is really nice, a bit denser than the normal way. Everyone thinks I'm a genius. Cheating is great.
