First Day, First Fight: Speaker Om Birla Loses Cool In Lok Sabha After Kashmiri MP's Speech

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi had a fiery faceoff with Speaker Om Birla in the Lok Sabha today over the latter's previous tenure as the Chair of the House. Ruhullah cited debate and passing of J&K Reorganisation Bill in 2019 and former BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri's anti-Muslim slurs against Danish Ali, also a former MP, during previous tenure of the Lok Sabha.
