As a french, I am really proud of our french team because they showed that they are not so far from the United States. The game was very close and came down to free throws. It's sad that we could have ended a 32 years of American dominance but lost by just 1 point. I hope we do better next time 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷

Highlights won’t capture how ugly this game was, the “lowlights.” No disrespect to Team USA ladies, but this game was sloppy AF. I watched the whole thing, unfortunately. Painful to watch—19 turnovers, bad passes, bad shots, multiple MISSED LAYUPS. With the exception of 1-2 players, they did not look like professionals. They played lazily and acted entitled to the gold. France showed way more heart.

France was the only TEAM I was ever really concerned about. Both TEAMs played poorly. Would have loved to see both teams playing at the Top of their GAME. Close games means drama but not necessarily Quality. But it's not easy playing on the Biggest Stage.
