V161 is Late model Getrag because its a S2, SZR also came with this Trans
ALFQZ is for RZ 6 Speed
A03B Is Torsen 3.266 Final Drive
FB20 only comes in RZ or option on SZR which is for Recaro Interior with Leather Rear Seat
M22 is the Plant it was manufactured in

The Drivers Recaro isn't factory the left Recaro is factory.

This model was the send off for the Jza80 so it was the highest spec'd Supra to be made and was only sold in Japan after 98
They came with REAS Suspension, Factory Recaros and Carbon Steering wheel.

Unfortunately Sams is missing the steering wheel
If you're reading this Sam I have a couple Steering wheels if you want to put the OEM one back on.

That rust where the roof meets the top of the tailgate is common on the Supra. The Tailgate is heavy and over the years it bends the hinges or just generally moves slightly and rubs against the roof edge taking the paint off and exposing the metal. Very easy fix but get on to it ASAP to avoid surface rust becoming holes. Also check where the roof meets the top of the side doors/ windows as ive seen many MKIV rust through right on the edge.

Book your dad an airline ticket and get him there... Don't sleep on this it's more important now than ever. You will be reframing that kid in your past that had a dream and to be standing in front of this car at this moment in time with the title in hand. Bro that shit is priceless and realizing and manifesting that dream to its fruition and you didn't take a crazy hit to your credit and it's heavily modified in the looks department this is something that just doesn't happen often great find and a solid car. This is something you can pass down to Yogo. . Enjoy this time of your life and seriously bring dad to the car you can finish it along the way. Maybe dad would enjoy taking it for a rip however it happens this ride with your Dad will change your life in the best way you can imagine.

Front Passenger seat is OEM Recaro, that came in the Series 2 RZ. You just need a matching driver seat.

Maybe the white smoke was coming from a water leak in the turbo housing and that's why the lines are disconnected and why you're not seeing any smoke now?

I love everything about the supra. The whole kit, the fenders, the wing, the hood, the advan gt's. Everything is perfect. Interior could get an update, and the engine could get an update, but I love the way it looks.

Sam not sure if you see this but I think your front fenders might be from *Border Racing.* If you search _Border Racing Supra_ you’ll see their white Supra has what looks to be the same fenders. Their website is in Japanese but I did end up finding them on there and the price listed was ¥138, 000.00. I saw similar on other makes/models from various manufacturers but that’s the only A80 fender I found like it.

The Supra is so freakin sick. Such a iconic, dream car status, amazing machine. I honestly wouldn't change much on the exterior I think it looks really cool. Congrats.

@21:15 the "SNOW" light is basically BECAUSE you have it on the lift and the wheels are in a state of constant "SLIP" it thinks it just has NO TRACTION... it doesn't know that it no purpose.... so it's complaining.

Lets Goooo. You got a gem there. It is clean for a 30 year old car. I am so stoked to see this thing get some love and back on the street. You really need to do a full restoration on this and this will be worth a mint.
I'd keep all the exterior just like it is, and freshen up the interior and engine and leave it. Looks ❤

Yup A80 is what most folks think when you say Supra! Welcome to the Supra family! And please if you sell the bumper/hood, I would buy it! Or any other A80 parts you don’t want! I do have a decent HKS Dragger muffler for the Supra but the rest of the piping isn’t the best.🔥

It’s awesome there’s nothing obviously wrong with the engine Sammit! The mental battle you now have is building the trust that there actually isn’t anything wrong with it. Going through the engine will take care of that! Looking forward to more Supra content!
