Veteran's headstone arrives at cemetery in Clinton Township

A World War I veteran's long-lost and recently-found gravestone is now closer to marking that soldier's final resting place. The headstone of Jack Clay, found in the backyard of a Detroit home by a new homeowner, was delivered Wednesday to Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Clinton Township. When Help Me Hank initially reported on the headstone's discovery, calls came in directing Local 4 to the cemetery, which agreed to install the grave marker free of charge as thanks for Clay's service to our country.
