Crazy cuts as usual....
Q if you read this, straight arms for the STR8150 or RP8000 are seemingly unobtanium... So I made some out of carbon fibre tubing, took a lot of braining to work out they needed to be 117mm, and had to use a cordless drill as a lathe to evenly remove 0.5mm off the OD at the gimble end. The crazy thing is they work and look pretty dope too! 😎👌🏼 Just waiting for it to get dark now to see if the blue LED platter under lighting works... Oh, had to add some descreet weights under the headshells the tubes where so light, and the decks have the heavier tonearm weights fitted. Used the base off a cut down .30 cal lead bullet for 5 grams epoxied on.
