What I loved about this show is that I was never able to tell if they would actually kill off some of the characters, It's definitely one of my favorites now.

Something that I thought was funny about the anime is that they called themselves assassins yet other then Chelsea they were all equipped with gear meant for warfare not for taking out single high priority targets stealthily

the song says "if you wanna get out alive, then run for your life"but in the show they decided to finish the fight in the same day and ended up dead because they did not retreat.

I remember when I first started watching the anime I liked how it mixed the happy, sad, and f***ed up moments in the first three episodes

Then I accidentally skipped ahead a few episodes where Akame's sister made her reveal and I immediately liked that girl who could disguise herself as anyone and genuinely wanted to see more of her but then came the end of the episode with her head on a pike and I thought "well ... Shit ... I don't like this anime anymore if it's just going to introduce interesting characters make you love them and then force you to watch them die"
