He knows right from wrong. I say that to say this, he has never in his life seen you or know of anyone else that stores cleaning products in the refrigerator, and the way that you tell this story is that he has never seen you put groceries in the refrigerator in shopping bags. He is testing you/your patience. It is time to start showing this young man some tough love. The reason I say that is because he will continue to go through life thinking that a "Woman" is to do all the chores in and around the house claiming that "He doesn't know how / never was taught how to do it" when he clearly has. Not saying that a woman cant raise a boy to be a man, because she can. But when it comes to throwing feeling out the window and lets get down to the tough love, in "my opinion", I feel that most women find it hard to give the kids tough love. I am married for 36 yrs, 3 adult kids, so I feel that I can truly relate to this young lady situation. Tough love now, or he will cause someone's daughter a lots of heartache and pain later on in life.

I’m a 35 year old woman and when I was younger my mom would say to wash the dishes. I did just that. I didn’t dry them and didn’t save them. I didn’t sweep. I didn’t wipe the stove. I stuck pots in the fridge. My mom learned she needed to tell me things in a logical order until I knew what she meant. Then I would make my own logical order and it would end up being better than hers! 😂

I learned when briefly married, that often men do jobs around the house to cause the woman to take over in exasperation. Its a ploy. I divirced him. Even my children 11 and younger know how to put groceries away because they have seen me do it again and again and the fact that you did not notice, you need to teach him how to do it properly by watching him the whole time and not get caught up doing something else and make sure he does it properly and then transfer to checking after every time.
