As a mirage main, to mask your ult simply sent out a decoy and run the other direction

In the heat of a battle, regardless if you know how to find real Mirage, it's really hard to tell which one is which, especially in a place with a lot of foliage or bright coloured area, the fastest way to find him is either wait for the real one to shoot or shoot and pray that your shot hit the real one. Sometime when I'm playing Mirage I can't even tell which one is the decoy and where the enemy is at on close distance fights, I basically bamboozle myself with my own decoy lol.

One thing I've noticed and really don't understand why Respawn made it this way, is the fact that a lot of Mirage skins glow whereas the Swish Buckler and Captain Bamboozle skins do not glow, so it becomes a pay-to-win scenario

Another way to tell is that 99% of the time, the real Mirage will be the only one without footstep audio.

As a mirage main, already using that tip but is still pretty funny to see people just shooting all around cuz they cant find the real one

I usually pop out from behind cover after using his alt. That way they won't see the flicker or the glowing shoulder pads. Sometimes I'll also send a decoy ahead of me first, pop the ult and come out from the other end of cover, because chances are they'll come from that direction with the idea that I DID send a decoy and that I am still just hiding behind cover. Mastering Mirage is pretty tricky, as if you just loosely use his abilities enemies can pick you out easily, but I will say that it's such a good feeling when it works. Oh! I also cycle between both (since it recovers so quickly) to just play with the enemies lol Just to be a pest.

Oh! Also, for those who play Bloodhound, or if you play Mirage and face a Bloodhound, beware that if he ults he can see your footsteps in red and will immediately know which is the real Bloodhound. Also, if a Seer uses his ult after you use your ult, all of your decoys will have a health bar, but if you use it before, only the real Mirage's health bar will show. Just a little tidbit of info
