When my computer is processing something, like while I'm playing a video game, the audio cuts and is choppy, I have a very good PC and I tried every solution I could find online and nothing works. What do you suggest ?

You can also put separate effects on each channel via the insert jacks on the back and an insert cable. You use the insert jack corresponding to the channel you'd like to put the effect on and plug in the single trs end and use the two ts end into the in and out of an effect pedal or processor. For example, I can plug a mic into channel 1 and have a vocal effects pedal plugged into insert 1, then I can plug my guitar into channel 2 and totally separate effects on channel 2. The computer will record the effects so they are not removable later, so that is a disadvantage when compared to vst's. I have a really slow computer and this takes the pressure off of my pc to store and use vst's while recording, before I had problems with audio glitches and stuff bc the pc couldn't keep up.

Thanks for the info. I am going crazy to find someone to explain what wires go where to connect to my laptop for using Audacity. I'm using a XLR microphone. I know the mic goes in the front. I've got the USB connected to my laptop. Which jack on Behringer goes to the mic jack on my laptop?? I can see Behringer in Audacity in the Audio setup. But nothing happens when I record.

Hello Sir, When I connect a microphone to the 1st input of the UMC202HD Sound card, I get it from the right when I connect the headphones to the 2nd input from the left. I have made all the sound card settings in cubase etc programs, but in general, how can I solve this problem except for recording, I would appreciate it if you could help me.

Hi! I got this interface but I can't make it work! My computer doesn't recognize it. I tried with different computers, differents windows, and installing different drivers and nothing. If I pplug it in i can connect a mic and headphones and I get audio, but not on my computer, so can't record anything... Anyone had a similar problem?

Can somebody explain to me what the switch on the back does? Adds 48V to the input? What does that mean for the signal?
