One Final Update

It's been a little minute since I touched base on how I'm doing so let's have a final chat about things and where I'm headed in the future.

Alex the Rambler produces videos on a variety of Strategy games while dabbling in other things from time to time. Expect extremely incompetent gameplay!

S'alright brother. Sharing what you're going through and feeling, in an age where everyone seems to be so divided and ripping us apart, is a brave thing to share and acknowledge. We're all here to get you through it.
We can all feel a bit ____ (flat) when we think life a rollercoaster that we're watching from afar. There is no fun waiting in the queue, asking yourself "When's my turn?" (Kinda like playing 1936 Communist China, elite, historical HOI4 🤓) .
Do what's right for you. HOI4 or walking Nigel (love the name BTW) . Look after yourself and family. Be more Nigel 🐺

Therapy takes months and sometimes years as we're slowly changing our external and internal perspectives. It does get better. 'Self investment' it sometimes difficult to do when think we're being selfish. My boys still enjoy watching your HOI4 videos because of the rescue saves and different scenarios. Good luck to you Alex and we are hoping the best for your life!

I know this is a month late but I’m glad you took some time out to work on yourself and your wellbeing. It’s taken me two years, since graduating, to get into the right mindset too and a consistent routine. COVID killed my morale and now my life is looking up with support from relatives and friends. But seeing you now gives me faith - it shows that your time out was very important as you’re now looking so much better. We believe in you. I may not always be here but I’ll always be a fan and we all appreciate you sharing your journey with us. We all wish you a healthy, happy and long-lived life. Peace and love

Ive been through these flat bits, I know what youre feeling, its hard without the highs, i had the same with my anti depressant.

You can get through and believe me, it gets better, takes time but bit by bit, inch by inch ❤

Man, it's a really great job in some ways for someone with depression, and a real bitch of a one in other ways, huh.

I'm in training as a counselor, and "stuck" is the hardest and most common feelings I've found with people with low-moderate depression and anxiety, and probably would be for severe examples too (I'm not let near those yet, but it's been my experience). The feeling it leads to is so often "frustration", but that so often means that you see yourself outside of that situation, that stuck place, that you are more, haven't given up.

I respect your choice to talk about this; it's great, for men in particular, to be able to see someone they admire struggle and combat this and admire that person more for it.

That's not your job though, your job is to make videos for us, so whether sharing or not sharing your status is better, that's what you should do.

I just started my Hoi4 YouTube Career and I do relate with your struggles!
Not long ago, I lost my memory and have been finding it much harder to think, comprehend & speak lately.
This has resulted in me being pretty sad lately ):
All of that made me pretty stuck, frustrated and unhappy with life ...
But then I started making Hoi4 Videos! Which made me become much happier and was able to cleanse all the sadness away!
As a matter of fact, I'm making a video right now! And I'm very excited for June!
