I am so happy somebody finally brought and recommended Bungo Stray Dogs . Its my favourite manga and anime series and I recommend the light novels and the irl dead authors works as much as the original series! P.s season 4 is coming out in January!

Ah Phantom tales of the night...I really want to get this series and I feel I always say this when I see it haha. So many reprints of older series have pushed back the priority on this one but I swear next year I'll grab them all

I really wonder for how long will "Bungo stray dogs" go on.. I mean, we have things like "One piece" and "Nana" which have been ongoing for ages and nobody knows when will they ever be finished.. For me it really matters a lot, if the series have an ending, regardless of how long they are. Of course, it doesn't apply to series that came out in last 2-5 years as all of them are fairly new, but with an older pieces (and BSD started at 2012, i believe), it would be nice to see an outline of an ending to the story ahaha ~

I'm out here laughing at 4 am at the "bean counter" in the name of an isekai manga, as a person who has english as their not first language, till this day i had never heard this and had no idea on what it means, now i know i guess ahha

Just wanted to mention this one thing with someone who would kinda understand if not relate, but uh i believe Kodansha is doing both physical copies for "Blue period" and for "Blue lock", but when i went to the bookstore to check out "Blue lock" volumes, they looked kind of the same to "Blue period" ones, however, when i actually touched them and just under closer inspection the volume kinda just felt "cheaper"? dunno if that makes sense, but "Blue period" volumes are always so hefty and nice to touch, pages are smooth and nicely cut and with the "Blue lock" volumes they kinda just feel lighter and pages looked gray~er to me. I thought it's a one volume thing, so i checked out other ones and they were all the same. I have no idea why it affected me so much and kinda even stopped from purchasing it, but i feel like this expectation for the volumes after having "Blue period" ones is kind of unreasonable and bad..

Really want to obtain "Kowloon" and "After the rain" sometime in the future, because the art and aesthetic of this artist is just so soft? the covers look almost as if someone took an acrylic paint to add the colour. Although, before i'll actually try to collect either of those series i need to read both of them ahah. Since "After the rain" has an age gap romance plot i feel like i might get into it just because it's a bit relatable for me, but with "Kowloon" i just heard people being generally positive about it!

"Phantom tales of the night" ended? or have i misunderstood you? sorryyy~~~ since ever i saw you get the first volume of these series i kept looking at it on the shelves at the store, but just haven't ever had an urge to actually go and pick it up, just feel like trying to read first few chapters at the store would be a decent idea since from past experiences i haven't been able to get into neither episodic manga nor anime, but i do agree the covers are stunning, same as the art inside of the volumes

overall, great pick ups this month waw, really went ham with the BSD series ahaha, hope you will love it more and more as you read it!
