That bird turning into literal feathers after being hit looked like some looney toons shit

Same for pro tennis players who receive a serve. They react to how their opponent's racquet strikes the ball rather than watching the ball itself.

The animators are real quite for some reason we might be getting something unhinged real soon...

I had 20/13 vision growing up, now I have about 20/40 vision. It was pretty cool. What I always describe it as is that as a kid I could see in 8k resolution and now I'm down to 480p.

I could read the hours of a store from about 100 yards away if I had a second to read them.

Pigeon was excited to go to its first ballgame… and last.

As an NPC:

"The animators need a raise"
"They have too much freedom"

With Randy being 6’10”, his extension is gonna make that distance even shorter, somehow making this more impossible

I’m watching this to make myself feel better for batting so terribly in middle school.

As a baseball player (not pro, but I have a friend who went pro recently), I can say that you can tune to hecklers out. I don't know how I do it, but I can iterally tune everyone out except the coach, its kinda cool. As far as hitting the ball, it is mostly about just little variations in hand rotation and release. That stuff only comes from thousands upon thousands of reps. I've seen a 94 fastball followed by a 92 slider. It's tough, but it's all about training yourself to pick up on the tiny differences

They also start swinging prior to the release of the ball. It's easier to check swing than it is to speed up the swing.

as someone who played high level baseball there is a reason batting averages are ~.210 across mlb, these pitches are ludicrous.
the fastest pitch i’ve ever put into play was a 96 mph cutting fastball back in senior year of high school, the pitcher went on to play with the braves in triple A, and is an absolute beast.
