Start your days right with Don Quixote (Dan's Review)

This is one of my very favorite books. It is also possibly the funniest. It is a classic novel from 1605 by Spanish author Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra, who himself had quite the interesting backstory where he was captured by pirates while returning to Spain as a soldier and made several escape attempts. During his life in prison, he wrote several plays and novels, and came up with his most famous work, Don Quixote.

Don Quixote brought him immediate success and to this day is lauded as one of the greatest and most entertaining novels ever written. Like the works of Shakespeare, stands the test of time even today.

It was recently voted as the top novel ever written through a poll of 100 well known authors and frequently finds a prominent spot in lists of greatest books of all time.

The main character and his companion are among the funniest and most lovable ever written. I love this book. I think you will too.
