hello pete i tried controlling factory io with plc sim i am using tia portal v17 however i am unable to connect in Factory io, i tried downloading the template as mentioned in your previous comment but it didnt help please advice

Thanks for your good videos.

I've offset the inputs in TIA Portal, but the PLC still doesn't read from Factory I/O. And even with the offset outputs, when I write a simple program that should put the outputs out, I see the physical outputs on the PLC powering up.

It's an S7-1200. Should the output behave that way when I want it to output in factory io?
