Mosquitoes start to die off when temps hit 50 degrees and they get lethargic when temps get in the 60's and they tend not to bite then. So unless these mosquitoes are lab bred to survive colder weather then I would not worry about it. I am so sick of the fear porn.

Living in an area where mosquitoes are very common, they come in to your house it’s not like you can go to your car compact and as quickly as you can enter your home that you’re fast enough not to let Amy in. You would have to make sure that you would have to have all your windows down completely. You would have to make sure your doors going to the outside would be sealed. Which that in itself is very hard to do. So staying inside at dark time, makes no sense. There’s a better chance of them coming in then not.

If you live by rivers and ponds that's also a great breeding area for mosquitoes..I'm from Taunton Massachusetts but now live in Ky and this scares me for family and friends that live there..
I'm unsure why but mosquitoes don't like me I end up with no bites my my son ends up covered in bites..Pray this stays away from Ky

This happens in this area all the time. It's not an emergency. Noone here is worried about it. We just need to be cautious. And try to stay away from the mosquitos. It's not that hard to do. It's not like the apocalypse and we've got swarms of mosquitos hovering everywhere. There is no hype!!!! Everyone will be fine. Accept for the few who won't be. But we're talking a handful if that. It's very rare.

Last year I somehow made it through the whole summer with no mosquito bites at all. I don't know how I managed this since mosquitos seem to love me. This year I only got maybe 4 bites all summer. Weird.
