this was literally me earlier today. I went yesterday, fed, rested, everything. struggled to bench 135 for 10 reps straight. today, tired, didn't eat breakfast, and literally did 135 for 10 no issue, hell i added weight

Generally a 1 week break after 4-5 months of grinding helps. Always boosyed my strength. But that break shouldn't be because you fell ill.

Hate to break it to u but the only reason this happens is because of inconsistent reps. You're probably not that different in strength in either of those situations, it's just that in the first situation you are probably hitting deeper ranges of motion especially in the lengthened portion and in the second situation you are probably doing half reps. I'm not saying you're doing half reps in the video but if hypothetically this sort of discrepancy in reps did occur in a session to session basis, that is probably what is happening. I notice this in other people all the time as well.
