For me, this is ideal to play first thing in the morning especially during weekends to start your day right instead of the news that may stress you out and drain you of your energy. It's very relaxing and at the same time it gradually builds up the energy level and burst that you will need for the day. I also agree that this is good while studying because this type of music is normally played at cafès or coffee shops where people hang out to relax, study, read a good book or bond with friends.

I fell in love with the entire jazz medium as a young boy watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Johnny Costa's compositions were so soothing to me at the time, I always associate jazz with being in a really good mood. Good jazz like this creates such a joyous and comfortable atmosphere. I've yet to play this all the way through.
As it is, I'm lucky to get it in 20 minute increments. But even that transports me to a smokey little Jazz Cafe, where the patrons actual listen to and appreciate the music.
Speaking as a musician, the musicianship shown on these wonderful recordings, are second to none.
When I can let myself get lost in the flow of music, instead of picking it apart with my producer brain, I know I've found solid gold.

Dyl here, writing to you from the 4th story at my good friends apartment in Palma, Mallorca whilst the sun has set on a cool winter's evening.

Just spent the day here editing videos for our new channel on plant based cooking, while my friend and business partner was walking the streets and picking up the most delicious produce he could get his hands on.


Tonight for dinner.. freshly picked Esclatasangs (pine mushrooms), artichoke, stock, and sprint onion.
