This is very informative video I get good knowledge about CT.
I want to use CT in 0.75 HP AC motor current measurement with full accuracy and how reliable to use CT for current measurement and using in our machine.
Kindly please suggest which CT i have to use in this application.

What should be the criteria for the CT ratio selection. For example if the max load is 400 amps then should i use 500/5 ratio or 800/5 Ct ratio and why !

I recently installed a small window type CT on a small wind turbine(100Watts) and i noticed that the offset error varies with ambient temperature(the higher the ambient temperature, the higher the offset), is this typical with a small CT? is this due to the fact that the resistance changes with temperature?
