The Thor boots are great but the 1 problem I have with them is the top strap. Anyone with bigger calves or braces, you WILL snap the top strap. They are only $3 to replace so not horrible if you do

I’ve been riding the 3s a while and they’re great. Definitely recommend! Break in wasn’t too bad, definitely feel secure in them

Warning about the tech 3, if you get mud in that hinge they will squeak every time you take a step and it's almost impossible to clean

Let me start by saying chase is great at all these reviews…….but if you’re serious at all about riding or getting into riding, just remember you get what you pay for. Early in the game you’re gonna make mistakes. You need more than just the entry level stuff. Get yourself something mid to high range in all protective gear. Save the money on the cheaper stuff and go ahead and get the good stuff. You’ll end up buying it down the road anyway. Your physical health and safety is incredibly important in any form of riding. If you’re injured, you’re not riding. It’s that simple. You can go cheap with pants, gloves, and jerseys, but please protect #1 your head, #2 your knees and #3 your feet and ankles.

Lucky they upgraded the cop boots. I had a pair from a few years ago, the comp 5 and it was literally the worst boot I’ve ever put on. Buckles and straps were trash and hard to use. Very stiff and hard and the right boot dig into my shin sharply no matter how much adjusting.

Helpful thanks though as a complete newbie I would have like to see how they go on. One shot here showed that there was a lace inside rather than closing with just the clasps. Is that the case for all boots? Easy on is key for me as i’m not as slim as I used to be. Thanks again.

Also, what's the difference between a bonded vs stitched on sole other than being replaceable?

Do you have any recommendations on boots for a ride with bigger calf’s

I have the Thor boots.
I don’t like the steel toe cap.
Is is ok to remove it, or will it cause problems with the shoe ?
I’m 9 and just riding on flats. Super beginner on 50cc.
Thanks
