I have the same epilator, and I love it! It does hurt, but it's tolerable considering the results afterward. I too heard that it helps to exfoliate before epilating because it helps the epilator grasp the hairs better.

I've been using the epilator for probably over 2 years and I love it so much! I've only shaved like 3-5 times but I love epilating more than shaving because like you said, it slows down the growth of hair and it's not really painful anymore except for my face :) What I'd recommend is using the epilator slowly like going up & down slowly because it grabs onto more hair that way :)

I've been using epilator for 7 years already (I have Braun) and I don't feel much pain )))) I think hair is not that hard when you epilate it so many times. Now I am looking for a substitute for my old epilator, so thank you for this rewiew!
How often do you have to epilate your hair with this device?

I have been using the same brand emulator for face- it's a small white one. It works great for upper lip, and sides. Highly recommend it. In fact after seeing me use it, my aunts have asked me for it, my mom has one too!

For me it takes about 10 min to epilate my legs. The key is the epilator itself. I have used different ones and have found the perfect epilator. The first one I tried was similar to yours and it was horribly painful. Now I’m using Brown Silk Epil 5280 (the newer version). And it is seriously the best. It has a massaging nozzle that helps to reduce the pain. Before this I had an older version but it wasn’t as good as this one.
Afterwards I always apply aloe gel to help calm down my skin.
