α CLOCK - Sony’s way of preserving World Heritages for future generations.

We have released new content “Westminster” on Alpha CLOCK website and Alpha CLOCK application for Mobile/TV. Fixed-point photography images were shot on Alpha 7R V and FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II.

The α CLOCK began in September 2008 as a project for Sony as a camera manufacturer to capture these numerous World Heritage locations with Sony’s Alpha interchangeable-lens camera and pass the records and preserve them for the people around the world and future generations.

The photos taken can be downloaded from the official α CLOCK website. The app for smartphones and Android TVs, α CLOCK for Mobile/TV, are also available. Please use your PC, smartphone or TV to enjoy photos taken at various times of the day, including sunrise, sunset and night view, of the World Heritage locations that color each month of the calendar.
