I think the Fruit Notifier definitely won overall, with twice as many legendaries and a mythical fruit. However, I don't think the sample size is big enough for a definitive answer (as to which method is luckier).
In my experience, I think rolling is more lucky on average, in the 3rd sea. Feel free to comment your own experience with fruit collecting methods, I would like to see other takes on this. Anyways, thanks for listening to my yapping session :)
