The PS6 is releasing in 2027 or 2028, buying a PS5 Pro is both dumb and useless.

The Switch 2 will probably also be announced this month. It's a pro version that's probably going to be super expensive but isn't a big difference between the original version vs a brand new console that's the successor for the third most successful game consoles ever that's probably going to have a few teaser trailers for a few Switch 2 games. The Switch 2 announcement is going to kill all hype for the PS5 pro

I always wondered why they don't have consoles with some kind of plug in hardware upgrade, similar to the Sega 32X. You could have some sort of external box you plugged in to the console that had additional RAM for the CPU & GPU. I guess that wouldn't be as profitable as buying an entirely new console, however.

PS5 has no Japanese game and so PS5 Pro. Unless they do a clean house and move the HQ back to Japan
I'll just be happy with my PS4 Pro, Steam and Nintendo Switch

Sony already has a deal with Microsoft for Azure. They want PSplus on PC and it will arrive soon.

Sell at a lost just to get those subscribers. People didnt buy the shitty console even when PS4 Library is supported.

Do you need it? Well, everyone is pushing Ray Tracing in the heavy Triple A games and RDNA 2 is too weak for Ray Tracing.

Now, for the games and how is the industry nowadays? Nope. Most console-only gamers don't care for upscaled games at 720p native and not reaching 60 FPS all the time.

But oh boy games are expensive and hard to develop nowadays...good greed Investors and share holders...
