Step 1: Turn the power off to the electrical outlet you are working on. Then, simply remove the outlet from the box.

Step 2: Measure the thickness of your wall material and add 1/8", then transfer that measurement to the Outlet Extender Buddy tubing.

Step 3: Using a pair of scissors, cut the tubing to the correct. length

Step 4: Install the spacers over the mounting screws and re-install the outlet.

Step 5: Re-install the outlet cover, and you're done!
